Goonvean’s tableware kaolins are used in porcelain, bone china, hotelware and earthenware products all over the world. The low iron and titanium content of the kaolins ensures excellent fired whiteness, while high strength and plasticity maximise clay yield. They are designed for all production techniques including casting, plastic making and isostatic pressing.

Diamond Star is a white firing kaolin with an ultra low iron content. It boasts incredible strength and plasticity (50kg/cm²) and offers the opportunity to minimise the need for ball clays in tableware formulations. Diamond Star is used by high quality porcelain and tableware producers all over the world, and is especially suited to high-white aluminous hotelware applications.

Diamond Porcelain Plus comprises selected feed materials giving exceptional strength and translucency coupled with good fired colour. It is particularly suited for bone china and porcelain applications, where high unfired strength and good fired colour at high temperatures are required.

Diamond Porcelain has been designed specifically for use in porcelain products. It is a white firing kaolin whose high strength and plasticity aid the forming process. Controlled higher potash levels assist vitrification.

Diamond Tableware is a selected blend of Cornish kaolins used in a wide variety of tableware applications. High plasticity and good fired colour make this product ideal for use in porcelain and bone china formulations.

Diamond DTC is a versatile tableware kaolin offering good unfired strength and a relatively fast casting rate. Low levels of soluble salts help to maximise mould life and produce very stable casting slips.
