Fine coarse grits are washed and sized to provide carriers for nutrition for bird breeders; the Scottish grouse benefits from Goonvean materials.

Ground granite is used in the chemical industry to manufacture ultramarine blue, where the chemical composition of the granite is of critical importance. Goonvean’s granite benefits from extremely low arsenic and heavy metal content.

Ground Cornish granite is also used as a mild abrasive in car polish.
