Goonvean’s range of Sanitaryware kaolins is extensive, from ultra fast casting clays for conventional and pressure casting systems, to super strong products for large pieces and fine fireclay. Goonvean has a Diamond sanitaryware kaolin to suit your needs.

Goonvean bespoke products are designed to fit your exact specifications. Together we will develop ‘one-off’ products for individual customers. The consistency and quality of Goonvean’s kaolins can also be used to blend with local indigenous kaolins to optimise cost and performance at factories around the world.

Diamond Sanitaryware is blended from unique feed materials, imparting excellent unfired strength and plasticity to sanitaryware bodies, reducing cracking and distortion in large pieces. It is specially suited to fine fireclay bodies and is ideal for blending with weak, fast casting indigenous kaolins.

Diamond Blend 225 is a carefully controlled blend of Cornish kaolins designed to give optimum strength and casting properties. It is often viewed as a benchmark in the sanitaryware industry due to its high quality and proven consistency.

Diamond R is designed to impart first class rheology and also combines good strength. The blend of fluid feed materials with unique plastic kaolins derived from Goonvean deposits makes it a popular choice for many vitreous china sanitaryware producers.

Diamond Excalibur is designed to meet the exacting demands of sanitaryware producers in Asia, due largely to the fact that its performance is optimised when combined with indigenous Asian ceramic materials. Diamond Excaliber has a controlled fine particle size, coupled with high strength, high casting concentration and a good casting rate. It also boasts a closely controlled low potash content.

Diamond Colaggio is a blend of unique feed materials that are low in fine particles. It combines a superb casting rate and concentration with a low deffloculent demand.

Diamond Prosper is a product synonymous with quality and consistency, and has been used by sanitaryware producers for over 30 years. Renowned for its versatility, this kaolin shows superb casting properties and good strength. Its ultra low soluble salts mean reduced mould wear and increased slip stability.

Diamond Swift is the fastest casting sanitaryware kaolin commercially available due to its patented technology. It has an incredible casting rate of 20mm²/mm, and is an essential ingredient in many pressure casting formulations. This product maximises production efficiencies in sanitaryware plants around the world.
