Goonvean is a world leader in pharmaceutical kaolins. Our range is deployed in many medical and cosmetic applications, and conforms to pharmaceutical standards in Britain, the US and Europe.

Our kaolin range is a valuable mineral carrier for drugs, and supplies mineral constituents for numerous basic medicines. These mineral products can be irradiated to provide a sterilised product.

BPLK and USPK are products comprising hydrated alumino-silicate and are the only materials of their kind from a European source. They boast ultra low levels of heavy metals, arsenic and chloride, and have fine particle size with minimal coarse particles. These kaolins are pre-dispersed for ease of use, and are rigorously tested for chemical and physical properties in accordance with British or United States pharmacopoeia.

BP Heavy Kaolin, only supplied by Goonvean, is a purified, natural hydrated alumino-silicate, which is used primarily in the cosmetics industry. This product is rigorously tested for chemical and physical properties in accordance with European standards

BP Light Natural is a hydrated alumino-silicate. This product is similar to BPLK but is not pre-dispersed.
