Paper filler

We offer a range of high quality filler clays suitable for numerous uses:

Platinum Bright is a high quality kaolin filler well-known for exhibiting excellent brightness. Its typical ISO brightness is 84, making it the brightest natural European filler kaolin. Platinum Bright is used in a wide range of paper and board products.

Platinum Lustre boasts good brightness with an ISO brightness of 82.5. It offers improved printability of white-lined chipboard , duplex and various paper grades, and is proven to be suitable for blends with Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC).

Platinum SC is designed as a filler kaolin for use in Super-Calendared (SC) paper and is produced to a controlled particle size distribution. Fine particles are removed to improve retention on the paper machine, while coarse particles are removed to minimise losses to effluent. Platinum SC is engineered to maximise platiness of the particles.

Platinum Jubilee consists of relatively fine particle size filler kaolin, and is processed to provide low abrasion. It is the standard filler for most grades of paper.

Platinum White is a basic paper filler kaolin, exhibiting good all-round performance in a variety of papers.
