Our high performance kaolin range is able to extend expensive, primary pigments while retaining the integrity of the end-result. Our Opal range of kaolins improves paint opacity and viscosity and enhances the properties of rubber, as well as delivering real savings in primary pigment costs.

Opal Alpha is a high quality kaolin with fine particles and carefully controlled rheology. It is used as a high-grade extender in a range of household products including paints, inks, dyes, adhesives, rubber and plastics. Opal Alpha is renowned as a high brightness extender.

Opal Beta is a renowned fluid extender, particularly suited to water based systems. It is widely used in emulsion paints across Europe, and boasts controlled agglomerate size for ease of dispersion.

Opal Gamma is a standard filler and extender for use in adhesives, paper and paint. It is a fluid product with closely controlled rheology, making it a widely used extender with many applications.

Opal Zeta is an extender specifically developed for use in the tanning (leather) industry. It is a high-grade extender for adhesives and rubber, and dispersion is facilitated by its controlled agglomerate size
