Sustainability

Minerals are a diminishing resource and Goonvean has a great responsibility to ensure that they are put to best use and not wasted. At the heart of this social responsibility is the need to minimise the use of energy in production. The drive to reduce the energy required at every stage of our process is an ongoing imperative. In recent years major savings have been achieved but the search for less energy intensive equipment goes on. We are continually investigating ways to invest in renewable energy sources to achieve this.
